España Cabaret
Ayer tuve la ocasión de presenciar "España Cabaret", el ultimo espectáculo que Moncho Borrajo esta representando en el Teatro Olympia de Valencia.
Siempre me he reído bastante con este tipo y, por suerte, la representación de ayer no fue una excepción. Fueron casi 3 horas (!) de cachondeo continuo que se me pasaron casi volando (la ultima hora tenia el culo ya "cuadrao" de tanto estar sentado y se me hizo un pelín mas larga).
El espectáculo esta organizado como un homenaje al Cabaret y a su historia con varios numeros musicales inspirados en el Cabaret mas clásico de cada época (alemán, americano, castizo, etc...).
De cualquier forma, no hay que engañarse, todo gira en torno a Moncho Borrajo y casi se puede decir que los números musicales son la excusa para que el artista respire entre bombardeo y bombardeo continuado de su intensa y, generalmente inspirada, verborrea.
El único pero que se le puede poner a la actuación de Borrajo es su, a veces algo cansina, excesiva reivindicación de las bondades de la (su) homosexualidad y el (muy) repetido recurso al chiste fácil de carácter sexual (follar, follar, follar, follar y así sucesivamente).
En cualquier caso, los que conocen a este gallego deslenguado, saben que precisamente lo anterior es la marca de la casa y, generalmente, los teatros que visita suelen acoger a sus mas devotos seguidores. Y Borrajo como buen artista que es, no hace sino ofrecer a su publico lo mejor de si mismo.
Como muestra de la genialidad de Borrajo, uno de los chistes que mejor recuerdo me dejaron (creo recordar que refiriéndose a Camilla, la mujer del Principe Carlos de Inglaterra):
